Directional flow of Energy: Power, Vulnerability and  Human Connections

      Through the eyes:

  • Inward/taking it into yourself  vs. Outward/pushing towards someone

      Through the body:

  • Upward (expansive) vs. Downward (smallness)

Run the moment with only the breath, then add the words

My definitions:

Feelings: the internal sensory experience - an experience  the body has.  Just the signals. The data.

Emotions: The narrative attached to a feeling from our early encounters with those feelings.

Adrenaline becomes anxiety when we doubt our capacity to deal with the problems.

You can only truly love something that  you know. You can only love yourself if you know the truth about yourself first. And that takes some practice. Learning first to see yourself and learning to love every last piece of you, even the scary, or ugly, or broken bits. Because WE  ALL HAVE THEM.

“You don’t build confidence. You unlearn fear.”

The moment your worth stops depending on reaction, peace takes over. And that peace looks like power to everyone still chasing approval.
