Hi, I’m Elizabeth Parson —
a professional film actor and acting coach for theater and film based in Fort Collins, where I live with my six kids. I teach at the Colorado State Thespian Conference and volunteer as an acting coach at Rocky Mountain High School.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent students and those who are often marginalized, self-isolated, or struggling with social skills and anxiety. I create a space for finding balance between self-expression and working as part of a whole—a place to discover real human connection, authenticity, and true collaboration.
Philosophy and approach
My approach is rooted in a fundamental understanding: Things do not stay the same. Not in our souls, our bodies, our minds, our cities, or our world. I believe the most important skill we can learn—for acting and for life—is how to adapt to change: how to ride it instead of being thrown off, buried, or consumed by it.
To be successful in these areas you must know how to do two things:
Assess and understand new people and situations as they arise
Understand yourself and how you operate: your mind, your body, and your heart
I help young people begin and eventually master these practices.
